Can you do it without God? Sure you can, but that isn't the answer to true happiness in our temporary life, our life on Earth. In order to experience the fulfillment of the desires of our heart, we must approach the throne of God through study of His word and prayer. The Bible tells us that God gives us the desires of our heart. Our job is to discover which desires are His and to be able to act on them at the appropriate time. Remember that God's timing is not our timing. Seek Him and you will receive His word, His desires, and His will for your life.
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: (Psalms 37:4-5) -- pull out your Bible and read more from Psalms 37
